About Maison Cheri

Cheri holding some cupcakesHi, I am Cheri Laurent Earp, director of Maison Cheri. I began my business in 2011 after planning my own vintage style wedding in Devon.

I had recently been diagnosed as a Coeliac so needed a Gluten Free wedding cake.

I had always loved baking, so I baked and decorated my own gluten free Vintage Rose wedding cake which went down a treat; our guests could not tell that it was gluten free!

The word spread and I began taking orders, providing cakes for friends, for their friends, and their friends friends, catering for special events and weddings.

I am a gluten free cake specialist and artist, qualified sugarcrafter and self taught patissier.

Today, I continue to enjoy baking, fitting work around a busy family life.
